There are plenty of maps out there, but I found myself desiring something basic, but not entirely too simple.
These are my first maps, but I was hoping everybody could enjoy them as well.

==
The first map,
Attachment:
Andoryu.rte.rar
is a basic map, fairly level ground with rolling hills, and a large top-layer of soft dirt. Lots of room in both the X and the Y. Included is a second version of this map that has a bit of a base already made into it, Andoryu2.

The second map,
Attachment:
SandBank.rte.rar
is a little more complex. It has two hills on either side, and a gentle sloping valley in the middle, with some sandpits; however the catch is that there are a few large rocky outcroppings in the middle to help make it defensible. The AI has a tendancy of having trouble getting atop the rocky outcroppings, as well. Alternate version of map without X-wrap already available. This map also has a good amount of room in both the X & Y.

The third map,
Attachment:
SandPass.rte.rar
is pretty basic. Two large mountains on either side, with a large sandy vale in between. There is no X-wrap on this map, and personally feel this is probably a map best-played with 2 players. (I honestly don't really use this one, but figured i'd put it out there incase anyone is interested)

Edit:
- Actually made time to look at SandBank 2P: it is now working properly.
[Side note: X-axis is left/right, Y-axis is up/down]
- .rar'd a third map to add

Looks ok, and I agree that simple yet not too simple maps have been lacking. First ones name is a little odd, but ok.

Downloaded, looks like some pretty good maps.

Nope, those are just the BG files.

As Kallemort said, those are just the background files that define what's terrain is what: easiest way I know to show the entire map, since it is kind of large.
Here's a quick pic of SandBank that I already have, just to help give an idea as to the size of the map. Taken in the middle of the map, at the left-most rock outcropping.

= Added a few more screens of SandBank and a base-setup i typical like to use.

There is no X-Wrap. Otherwise the map is pretty good.

Sandbank is basic in a good way, the weird named one is basic in a not-so-good-'cuz-it's-too-basic way.

All in all nice to have more scenes not from the scene editor in my collection.

Ya, I agree.
The first is too basic, but the second is quite nice :)

Sandbox is still broke, If I make a hole in the ground I do not fall from the top of the screen. Pardon me if that is intented.

Are you trying to say that there is no Y-wrap? If you are then most maps like this don't Y-wrap because this is supposed to be on the surface of the planet so, falling to the core of a planet then appearing in the sky would be very weird. If you somehow meant X-wrap then you can just change the file to make it wrap.

if you leave the door to you base under the edge of the largest rock the AI will have tons of trouble getting in.

When trying to load Andoryu, I get:
Code:
Referring to an instance ('Large Hangar A') to copy from that hasn't been defined!
in Andoryu.rte/Scenes/Andoryu2.ini at line 10!
