Unless he's lying, he only used one week to make his, then sat back for the next three.

Wow. Until now, I didn't think it was possible for someone to literally lie straight out of their arse.

Dang, Grif ninja'd.

It was probably closer to 2 weeks. I started on the day the contest started, and I was modding until maybe 2 days after the preview deadline. However, by the time September rolled around (a little under two weeks since I started), I was just adding small details and debugging. That was fairly on-and-off and maybe every second day I was actually doing anything.

So, next contest. Weekend fest or a regular contest? Also, when?

How about an actor walking speed competition? Gold goes to whoever can make an actor which can traverse a standardized scene in the least amount of time without a jetpack. Good spriting, animating, and coding would be required.

Not up to me. That's up to the last contest winner for each category.
I want to know what people would like to do, time wise. I have it down that Mod Contest 5 is this weekend, but that's up to people if they feel like having it right after TCC1.

Honestly I do wonder if the contests shouldn't be just once a month. 2 weeks on, 2 off.

The turnout has just been horrible for the last contests. TC one especially shouldn't be repeated again. Those should be released and polished on their own and over long periods of time (Xextredge, etc.).

im going to polish RvR up eventually. i agree over shorter timespans though, but only 1 week for judging please.
this one should have been longer really, i think. no matter. it was nice to have to do something for once.

TC Contest should take longer, but there should be numerous shorter normal contests in-between. So you're not sitting around for weeks for the next contest to come around.

Soooo... no MC5 this week then I take it. How about next Friday, the 9th of October? Or, should that be too close still, the 16th? Or, perhaps even better, one starting the 21st and ending the 31st?

Not everyone participated in the TCC1, so I assume many people (like me) are waiting for the next normal contest.
How about this or next week.
That is my vote at least.

Too late for this week, unless everybody's willing to accept a contest that starts on Saturday instead of Friday.

The sooner the better. I'm bored and have nothing better to do.
