Woah, you mean LOVE that game?

It's really not a game. It interprets Lua you give it and has display functions that allow you to make applications or games. It's probably properly referred to as an engine.

Why not render and control the console via bindings exposed to Lua so we can polish it up? I did such a thing in LÖVE.

Except there isn't a console in the sense of something that shows debug information about the game while allowing input? Whatcha talking about?

Also hey guys this guy didn't say anything about being the maker of Löve, he just said he did something using it. Don't make wild assumptions yet. He could have meant he polished the "console"(whatever he was referring to) up in Löve.

I guess I should have used "a" instead of "the" - didn't know LÖVE had a console...

...so, I made my own :P. Granted, it isn't as refined as a certain multi-line text entry, but the premise is the same.

No, I did not make LÖVE (hee), but I have made consoles/text boxes from keycode inputs and draw commands. Which brings even further off-topic: if/how will/is drawing done from Lua engine bindings in CC? Object-oriented rectangles and text updated every change, or draws executed in a hook per render frame? Currently, it looks like there are commands to draw to a buffer of sorts, but I have no idea how they work.

I just made a java program to generate some quick console commands. It's still WIP.
Please tell me if I should add something to it and if there are bugs.

If someone has an idea for an additional feature please tell me and I'll add it as fast as I can(and want :P).

Man I sure wish that wasn't java so it would run quickly.

Add the option to check for certain items in the inventory of that actor. And add particle manipulation.

I will add the item check. If you give me some particle manipulation examples I can try that too.
I'm going to sleep now. Expect it in 12 hours.

What's team -1? I thought there are only 2 teams...
Or do you mean teamless?

Team -1 is a neutral team, they fight either Green or Red team, unless both Teams are in range of their fire.

You could have just said they kill everything.

Because they teleport next to everything and explode in a scene-wiping bomb, right?

EVERYTHING. THEY KILL IT.

If all that was posted in response was "They kill everything" it could have easily been interpreted as being on team -1 makes them some kind of BEAST.
