Post Help my mod!
I'm working on a stealth clone mod, and I'm having some problems. All it is is changing the colors of the green clone to blend in with backgrounds. Instead of them working like normal, I get ♥♥♥♥ like this:

Image

Isn't this because one of the colors isn't on the palate? This doesn't make sense, because these are all colors from the game...

Help?

EDIT:
Hehe... They weren't 256 color bitmaps, I think that's it

I think you should take the steps to correct the palette, because that kind of thing has happened to me before, which is why when I make a new image I use a copy of palette.

Use the search button to find the steps as I am to lazy to state them.

Damnit! Now I changed all the grass ones to 256 color bitmaps, and now they are surrounded by white. Can anyone help?

Twelve hours for a mod, probably Electroclan, to pop in with some copypasta from the Ultimate Modding Tutorial on "How To Put Your Mods in Palette".

Unfortunately for you I'm far too lazy to even link you, but with the thread title, you really ought to be able to find it.

I bet it is the wrong kind of bitmap, change it, put it in palette and then test it again.

And if you really had followed the tutorial, you would have known that would solve it.

that looks like a pretty good idea (responding to the first post). when you've fixed it post it, or at least pm it to me.

I'm not fixing it. I gave it up for anyone else who has the time to fix it.
